Angry Birds/Deadpool drawing
I haven't really drawn anything Angry Birds-related for a while now, so here you go. Since the release of the Deadpool movie, this idea came to my mind for some time, and after the release of the Angry Birds movie, I decided to bring it to life, an Angry Birds/Deadpool crossover drawing. If any of you who sees this drawing happens to be a die-hard Angry Birds fan, you'll know Chuck for his humorous and often unpredictable nature, as well as being energetic which makes it hard for him to concentrate on a few things and also trains hard to improve his fighting skills, which I guess, seems natural to fit him in the role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool.

Earth Day drawing 2016
This is a drawing I decided to make for Earth Day, the most famous icon of extinction since the non-avian dinosaurs, the Dodo. This meter tall, 20-40 pound flightless bird is a relative of doves and pigeons, its closest living relative being the Nicobar pigeon (Caloenas nicobarica), it's native mainly to a specific area, the Mare aux Songes on the tropical island of Mauritius off the east coast of Madagascar. There is ongoing controversy about the Dodo's life appearance, the most common descriptions being that the bird has grayish-brown plumage, a grey naked head, a green, yellow, and black beak, yellowish feet, stubby wings, and usually, a tuft of curly tail feathers, though now it's likely this bird did not possess retrices. Not a lot is known about its behavior either, but we know that the Dodo, like lots of other island-living birds, evolved flightlessness and fearlessness due to abundant food sources and an absence of mammalian predators. Its diet probably included fruits, seeds, and young buds, and it swallowed gizzard stones to help its digestion. Its habitat was in dry coastal areas of hardwood forest with trees such as ebony, this area is frequently prone to cyclones in the summer and droughts in the winter; the ecosystem the Dodo lived in was probably climatically unstable, but it's resilient enough to allow its inhabitants to survive. Males are slightly larger than females and have proportionately longer beaks, so males probably used their beaks for fighting over territory. We don't know if males and females paired for the season or for life and we don't know exactly how they reproduced and cared for their young, one historical account states that the female lays just a single egg. The first confirmed sighting of a Dodo was by Dutch sailors in 1598, and they mentioned that its meat was foul tasting, though it seems that some other sailors ate a fair share of dodo meat anyway. They were destroying portions of forest probably for agriculture and they brought along invasive species such as dogs, cats, rats, and pigs that were eating up the native animals' food and they were disturbing the nests and eggs of dodos, and invasive plants were brought there as well, taking over areas occupied by many native plants. Most sources say the Dodo became extinct around 1662, though there have been some claimed sightings of live birds as late as 1700. The most popular image of the Dodo is of a fat, clumsy bird, but it's most likely that that image of the bird is of overfed captive specimens, now it's more likely that this bird in the wild was taller and more elegant. It's also likely the bird is not as dumb as we may like to think, recent studies suggest that the intelligence of the Dodo is at least slightly on par with that of living pigeons. It's not clear how the bird got its name, some say that the name means "stupid" or "fool", while some others suggest that the name is derived from a type of sound the birds may have made, "doo-doo", a two-note pigeon-like call. Despite an abundance of bones on Mauritius, only a few skeletons can be considered complete. The Dodo became extinct just within a century or less after it was discovered, this drawing and many others like it is to remind ourselves about the human-made destruction that occurred, causing the extinction of many different species on Earth. The foundation of this drawing is based on the new anatomical dodo atlas: sketchfab.com/models/b66a301fb…. The restoration is based on the most reliable eyewitness accounts and illustrations like this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodo#/me…, this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodo#/me…, and even this: traheripteryx.deviantart.com/a….
